terakinizers: 英作文などを体験すれば、英語の文章を日本語に訳すると、だいたい3分の1くらいの分量になることを経験的にご存知だと思う。つまり、同じ時間で3倍情報を濃密に伝えられる言語だということはいえる(実際、このへんは情報科学的に正確に調べてみないといけないが)。
…やっぱり、日本語って、難しいよね…？あと、ツイッターのお陰で、日本語が情報密度の高い言語って事がはっきりするようになったと思う。
